The Weekend...

This weekend, I went to watch Tom Hooper's film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's stage musical 'Cats' for the second time, and having seen the trailer, I am excited for the upcoming cinema release this February of 'The Call of the Wild', directed by Chris Sanders. The movie is based on Jack London's novel of the same name, and features 'Buck', as the story's canine protagonist, and Harrison Ford, as John Thornton.

According to IMDb: 'Buck is a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life gets turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon in the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail-delivery dog sled team, Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime as he ultimately finds his true place in the world.' (Source: 'Overview/IMDb - Google Search).

London's novel is now going on my bucket list of books to read before my next big birthday. On the subject of books, over the coming week, I will be sharing my favourites with you. Obviously, they are doggo related, otherwise, there wouldn't be any need to include them on this site. I also have three magazines to read and review: 'Your Dog', 'Dogs Monthly', and 'Dogs Today' - February 2020 issues.

Until then, keep your pooches close and stay safe.
